They remind me of a chocolate and whipped cream dessert I make called striped Delight. But I know someone who makes the same desert and calls it Robert Redford dessert because it looks so good. So maybe you should call them Robert Redford brownies! 😉

I felt I should comment since I’ve been making these for 3 years now. I love them, my husband loves them, and now my family loves them after making them for family functions. always use the hershey’s special dark cocoa just because I love it. I’m going to make them again tomorrow and switch up the middle layer. My kids love the taste of coconut, but not the texture, so I’m going to sub the butter for coconut oil, and the vanilla for coconut extract. I hope it comes out as good as the original. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! 🙂

I only recently found your blog and while looking at some of your recipes…I came across this one and at the same time my husband looked over my shoulder and said “Oh, I want those”! I followed the recipe and they came out almost too great. I think he'd eat the whole pan if I let him! Thanks for the great recipe.

Wow. I made these when my sister came to visit me and we devoured the entire pan in a weekend. These will make their way into my "favorites" section of my recipe book with the honorable name of "Bob's Best Brownies." I'm a sucker for alliteration. 🙂
