Hi Tammie – it sounds more confusing when I try to write it than it actually is. Basically, while the flood icing (the red) is still wet, put dots of white (also thinned to flood icing consistency) on top. Then just drag a toothpick through the dot and it ends up looking like a heart! At least, it’s supposed to haha. Keep in mind that I always photograph the cookies that turned out the best… 🙂 Good luck! Let me know if you try it 🙂 I think that bakeat350.blogspot.com has an actual tutorial on it, but I can’t remember for sure.

Would you give instructions on how you did the white hearts on the red icing? I’ve tried this before but it has never turned out nearly as nice looking as yours. Thanks for your help.

Then while it was wet I just turned it upside down and dipped it in red sprinkles. Not the most exact method, but it worked 🙂

What did you use for red heart onto the white round cookies? How did you get it to look so pristine! I can't tell how you decorated it from your pictures…and I think it looks awesome!

I loved that it was so easy to do! Chocolate sugar cookies sound really really good 🙂
