I made this recipe and it was fabulous. I wasn’t quite sure what size jars of salsa I should buy so I bought the large size. I actually cooked the chicken in the broth and it came out well.

Yes, we did get a bunch of snow this past weekend! It finally felt like Winter. I don’t mind the warm temperatures and lack of snow though! How fun that your parents are in Grand Rapids – it’s a great town 🙂

Yummy! This looks delicious! I could eat chili every day.

I heard you got snow in Michigan. My parents are in Grand Rapids said its been the most bizarre year with no snow and warm temperatures!

ah, sorry! My previous comment made absolutely no sense because I thought we were talking about a different recipe! I am replying from in my wordpress admin and didn’t pay close enough attention to the chili you were referring to – sorry! Anyway, yes, it is fairly soupy. For some reason I’m not a huge tomato paste fan, but I’m guessing that would thicken it up! You could also try just adding some more beans or chicken and less liquid.

Made this tonight! The flavor was pretty good but its consistency was like soup. When I make chili I expect it to be thick and hearty. I think next time I will add a can of tomato paste to thicken it up. Other than that, it was pretty good!
