Comments on: Nutella Swirl Ice Cream

This recipe is poorly written.
First it says “Add a few cups of ice to a large bowl. Put a smaller bowl in the larger bowl. Place a fine strainer on top of the small bowl. Set aside.”

Then, it goes on to say “Pour custard through a fine mesh strainer into the medium sized bowl. Place the bowl in a large bowl of ice water and stir occasionally until cool.”

So which is it? Am I using the original, small bowl, or the medium bowl I started with? Or a different, medium sized bowl?
