It’s time for Friday Favorites, and I’ve got some great recipes and blogs to share with you this week. I know some of you will be glad to see some healthier options this time around, although of course I couldn’t completely exclude desserts. 🙂 Enjoy!

While we’re on the subject of nice healthy salads, this recipe for Strawberry, Pistachio, Feta Cheese & Basil Salad from Cookin’ Canuck looks wonderful!

I love fruit salsas, but never think to make them on my own. This avocado and peach salsa from Good Life Eats seems like a great recipe to start with!

I love the idea of cookies for breakfast, so these Chocolate Chunk Breakfast Cookies from Love from the Oven are right up my alley.

You know I can’t do a Friday Favorites post without linking to at least one dessert recipe, and this Moist Lemon Cake with Blackberry Cream Frosting from Indian Simmer looks and sounds amazing!

Avocados are on sale at the grocery store this week, which is perfect timing for me to make this guacamole with goat cheese and roasted corn from Joy the Baker.

These butter rolls from Buns In My Oven look like a great alternative to cinnamon rolls for a weekend treat!

This recipe for pesto chicken sandwiches with goat cheese from Table for Two looks like a great weeknight dinner idea! Anything with goat cheese sounds good to me. 🙂

I love this idea for Loaded Baked Potato Dip with Potato Dippers from Finding Joy in my Kitchen!

And for once, let’s end on a healthy note with these Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas from Gimme Some Oven. This looks like a pretty wonderful way to get all your veggies in!

Next up are these 15 minute mushroom melts with mustard aioli from How Sweet Eats. Anything that is ready in 15 minutes sounds good to me, and these look incredible!

Back to the sweeter side of things, how good do these Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Soft Pretzel Bites with Salted Caramel Dipping Sauce from Kevin and Amanda look?? I love homemade pretzels, and that dipping sauce looks dangerous!

And while we’re on the subject of dessert, how do Fudgy Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars sound?? Thank Mels Kitchen Cafe for this amazing looking recipe!

We might as well end with cookies right?? Nutella Stuffed Banana Cookies from RecipeGirl seem like a pretty great way to wrap up this week’s Friday Favorites. Enjoy! 🙂

It’s time for another edition of Friday Favorites! I love highlighting other blogs and sharing what I found particularly appealing this week.

I love popcorn (it’s one of our favorite evening snacks!), and this garlic rosemary parmesan popcorn from Two Peas and Their Pod looks like a wonderful variation. Plus, there is a great giveaway you can enter!

TidyMom posted some great looking southwest baked egg cups, and also included some tips for streamlining morning routines.

Sugarcrafter has so many great scone recipes on her site, but this new recipe for blackberry and white chocolate scones sounds incredible!

I’m pretty sure I can’t post Friday Favorites without including at least one cookie recipe. Maybe it’s because I’m obsessed with coffee at the moment, but this week, these Caramel Cappuccino Cookies from Savory Simple are the ones that caught my eye!

And to end on a deliciously sweet note, these dark chocolate and banana truffles from Love and Olive Oil look so good! Making truffles has been added to today’s to-do list. 🙂

It’s already Friday again, and time for another round of Friday Favorites! I read so many blogs on a weekly basis, I love pointing out some of the recipes I can’t wait to try, and also sharing some pretty amazing blogs with you. 🙂 Let’s get started!

I thought I’d start this week’s Friday Favorites off with something healthy for once. This Kale and Chard Green Power Salad with Maple Vinaigrette from Aggie’s Kitchen looks like the perfect way to get some healthy greens in my diet.

And from there, let’s move to something much less healthy – Mocha Mississippi Mud Cake from Bake at 350. As an added bonus, she gives a quick little tip about cake baking too!

One of my goals in life is to like brussels sprouts, and I think that this recipe for Campanelle with Pan-Roasted Garlic Brussels Sprouts and Pine Nuts from Bake Your Day will help me.

I had an economics professor once who would go on and on about his favorite dessert – flourless chocolate cake. He would create entire lessons on scarcity about this cake, and ever since then I’ve wanted to try it. Flourless Chocolate Cake from Brown Eyed Baker looks like a pretty good place to start.

To round out the week, this recipe for Chicken Enchiladas Con Queso from Confections of a Foodie Bride looks so good! You can never have too many quick chicken recipes.

Rachel Cooks made cookie butter chips and added them to muffins – sounds like a great idea to me! 🙂

This baked southwestern chile dip from Pennies on a Platter was posted before the Superbowl, but I’m pretty sure it can be eaten anytime – it looks great!

And last but not least, this chocolate peanut butter cheesecake from The Girl Who Ate Everything is calling my name. Loudly.

Friday Favorites time again! Fall is clearly the theme this week, with plenty of pumpkin, candy corn, and warm, comforting soups. I love Fall weather, but unfortunately it’s already starting to get a little colder than I’d like. Oh well, that just means more baking to warm up the house, right? 🙂 Hope you enjoy the selections this week – I think they look great!

Now that we’re on the subject of cookies, I can’t wait to try this recipe for pumpkin pie biscotti from Sweet Pea’s Kitchen! I love biscotti and am so excited to see a pumpkin version.
